My dr has started me on clomid, but i dont really understand it all. Why am i on it when i am ovulating? he said hes just putting me on it for a month to see what happens. will it increase the chances of twins if i am ovulating already on my own

Not complaining, but most of my friends didn't start showing until 12-14 weeks...I am healthy weight 120lbs and around 5'3 My grandmother is a fraternal twin and I was on Clomid from May -Sept...I go for ultra sound in 3 weeks... Do u think I hav more than 1?

Has anyone on clomid had twins?

I was on 6 cycles of clomid and I just found out that I'm pregnant! The doctor warned me that if I did get pregnant the odds of us having twins is 1 in 10 (an average women with no fertility pills her odds are 1 in 60) so I know I have a pretty high chance. So my question is, is there anyone who has been on clomid and had twins?
I'm about 5 weeks along now and the doc told me he could tell me at about 7 weeks weather or not it was twins.

FYI after 3 1/2 years of trying I'm soooo super excited and would be totally ok with it being twins I'm just curious.

My doctor is going to start me on Clomid next month and I am wondering what my chances are of have twins. We having been TTC 8 months now. This will be my first time on fertility medicine. I had a miscarriage of twins in Feb 2003 and another miscarriage of a singleton in Dec 2003 and a full term pregnancy of my son. Twins do not run in neither my husband or my families.
